Vicki's Obituary

Vicki Ann (Evans) Hardin, age 82, died August 1, 2025 in Oklahoma City, OK after a courageous and long battle of congestive heart failure. She was the wife of Jim Hardin who preceded her in death in 2021. A mother of two, they raised their family in Elkhart, IN.  Family members include her son, Troy Hardin and his wife Sherri, daughter Kellie Demuth and her husband Tom; two granddaughters, Pali Stallings and her husband Thorne, and Paden Demuth; and great-granddaughter Bara Stallings.

She was born September 3, 1942 in Fort Wayne, IN to Burton and Bobbie (Starnes) Evans. She was the middle child with two brothers, Pat Evans who preceded her death, and Tim Evans who survives her, both of Fort Wayne, IN. She grew up surrounded by a large family and was especially close to her Aunt Carolyene who was more like a sister. She had many accomplishments and interests in life but was best known for her love for Jesus, family, and friends, these are what were most important to her.

The celebration of life will be a graveside service held on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at 11:00AM at Memorial Park Cemetery in Oklahoma City, OK. Arrangements by Demuth Funeral Home, Oklahoma City, OK.
