Robert's Obituary
Robert Y. Duval IV, 62, of Edmond, Oklahoma died Monday, August 5, 2024, in Oklahoma City. Robert was born on September 4, 1961, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, to Robert (III) and Martha (Henderson) Duval. He graduated from Altus High School in 1979 and OSU Okmulgee in 1994. Robert married the love of his life, Linda Jean (Grooms) Duval on June 27, 1990, in Oklahoma City. They were happily married for 34 years.
Robert was a gifted photographer, an avid biker and was a lifetime member of the Downed Bikers Association. He was an enthusiastic supporter of all things OU Sooners and a member of the Sooner Club. He appreciated the time he spent as a realtor for Keller-Williams in Edmond, Oklahoma, and he retired as a Southwest Airlines Customer Service Representative in 2010.
He is survived by his wife, Linda, of the home, his loyal schnauzer companion, Kirby, his parents and sister April from Altus, Oklahoma, as well as many kind, supportive friends and family.
Special thanks to the Mayo Clinic transplant team and Integris Medical professionals who provided care and support throughout his life.
Services will be 1:30 pm on Thursday, August 15, 2024, in the Chapel at St. Luke’s Methodist Church, 222 NW 15th Street, Oklahoma City.
