Michael's Obituary

Michael Paul Kirschner left this earth on April 6, 2021. He was born in Enid, Oklahoma on April 10, 1943. He is preceded in death by his parents Belle and John Kirschner. He is survived by his wife Shirley and sister Margaret Newman, daughters Jonna Kirschner and Kathy Champion and grandsons Carter, Jay, Clayton and Winston.
Mike was President of the Kirschner Law Firm. He practiced law in Oklahoma City for over 50 years. He attended the Westminster College where he was a member of Beta Theta Pi. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Oklahoma City University. As a student at Oklahoma City University School of Law, he was named Outstanding Graduate of the Year by the Oklahoma Bar Association and Graduate of the Year by Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity from the Tenth Circuit.
He was a member of All Souls' Episcopal Church for over 50 years having served as Junior and Senior Warden, a devoted Layreader and Chancellor of the Parish for 38 years.
Family services and interment were held at All Souls' on April 16, 2021.
He will be fondly remembered as a kind and a gentle man that left footprints in our hearts.
