Jack's Obituary

Jackie Edward Taylor “Jack” was born April 4, 1928 and departed peacefully surrounded by his loving family March 5, 2021.

 

He is preceded in death by parents Clark and Helen Taylor and four brothers John, Bobby, Kevin and Butch and recently lost stepson Richard Dinger.

 

He is survived by wife Dorothy, two daughters; Shelley Roberts and husband Jim, Teresa Daugherty and husband David, five grandchildren; Justin Dinger, wife Nicole, Natalie Daugherty, Taylor Roberts, Quinn and Scout Daugherty, three great grandchildren; Miles, Ruby and Emma Dinger; and several nieces and nephews.

 

He served his country in Germany from 1950 to 1952. He returned and resumed his career in the car business. After retiring, he enjoyed tinkering with cars and small motors. He loved tinkering.

 

Jack was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. His family meant the world to him. Following their lives and activities brought him great joy. He also took pleasure in spending his days at the farm in Chandler, Oklahoma. Family and friends will honor his loving spirit there at the farm at a later date. 

 

He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
