Latham, Cheryl Lynn (Fredrick) of Oklahoma City, OK died April 5, 2023, in her home.

Cheryl was born January 5, 1944, in Alliance, NE, to William H. and Thelma L. (Mutchie) Fredrick. She grew up in Alliance and later Sidney, NE. She moved to Denver, CO to attend college then to Spokane WA, where she found her passion for caring for others, in the medical field. She then relocated to Oklahoma City to raise her family and lived until her passing. 

She worked in a cardiologist’s office, then began the rewarding career as a Surgical Scrub Technician, in the Heart Cath Lab at Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City. She was committed to this career with Baptist for 32 years.  She was a very hard worker, loved the job, the Cath Lab team and that what they did saved countless lives. She was greatly loved and appreciated by her coworkers and the physicians that she worked with.

Cheryl loved gardening, especially flowers. She always looked forward to spring. You’d find her cheering on the Sooners and the OKC Thunder, loving and doting on her grandkids, always supporting them in their activities. She was captivated by her great grandson, who has brought her much joy for the last 5 years.

Cheryl was proceeded in death by her parents Bill and Thelma Fredrick of Sidney, NE, her brother Bill Fredrick of Spokane, WA her sister Karen Fredrick Rehmer of Sidney, NE and her husband Richard Latham of Oklahoma City, OK.

She leaves behind her children Michael Ross, Kimberly Ross and Sherry Ross of Oklahoma City, OK. Her grandchildren Aaron Ross of St. Louis, MO, Lauren and Corey Wade and their son Holden Wade of Moore, OK, and Victoria Womack of Oklahoma City, OK.
