Vicky's Obituary


A Celebration of Life service for Vicky E. Lecinski, age 71, of Guthrie, will be 10 A.M. Friday, January 7, 2022, at Demuth Funeral Home with Pastor M.W. Lawrenz officiating. Lunch to follow for the family and close friends at the home of James and Sabrina Lecinski-Roberts 1137 Lone Oak St. Guthrie, OK 73044.

Vicky was born Oct. 12, 1950, in Enid, OK to Melvin W. and Margaret L. Lawrenz and passed away December 29, 2021.

She attended Enid Public Schools. On October 7, 1977, she married Alex Michael Lecinski, Jr. in Oklahoma City and he passed away March 26, 2012.

She was a member of the Baptist Church for many years. Vicky worked as rural carrier and eventually retired from the Edmond Post Office. She was a loving wife, fantastic mother, and enjoyed fishing whenever she got the chance to go.

She is survived by her daughters Sabrina Lecinski-Roberts and Loreen Towery; 2 grandchildren Donovan Towery and Aniyah Hearn; sisters Melva Glaser, Diane Smith, and Wendy Myers; brother M.W. Lawrenz; and several nieces and nephews.
