Tammy Lynne Kaverman, age 56, of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024 in Lake Saint Louis, Missouri. She was born in Midwest City, Oklahoma on September 25, 1967 to Royce and Lynne Hinkle.

In Tammy's early childhood life, she attended Living Word Academy and Oklahoma Christian Schools in Oklahoma City and Edmond, Ok. She graduated from Ponca City High School in Oklahoma. She was very involved in extracurricular activities, she was involved in any sport she could get her hands on. She was passionate about basketball and the drill team. She told her children constantly about her 3 pointer skills. While in her younger years she lived on what she called “the farm”, which was her fathers house. Where she found her love for horses. She loved riding. She somehow knew anything you needed to know about them. The farm was home for many of her fond memories and where a lot of her stories she told her kids came from. There was this guy who she called the “hermit” who lived there and if you happened to hear the story you would know it was a good one.

Tammy had a very successful career path from a young age. With her being determined, driven and strong willed she dominated a man's field as a powerful woman. She was a trailblazer in her field, Tammy’s career spanned all facets of the automobile industry from automotive retail, indirect lending, to technology and software. Her experiences included being an executive or leader at enterprise companies such as Wells Fargo, Austo Nation, Wolters Kluwer, Penske, Ally Financial, and Equifax to new launches like Global Lending Services, DDUSA Inc, and her own consulting firm TK2. She was sought after for her unending energy, passionate leadership, dedicated mentorship, professional vision and most importantly her collaborative spirit. She brought the best out of colleagues, teams, and leaders and became a steadfast friend to so many.

Do not let Tammy's strong work ethic fool you; she loved that when she came home she got to be a mother. She loved the balance of being strong, rigid, and bold, to being able to come home and be loving, silly, and compassionate. She truly was exceptional. When she walked into a room everyone knew she was there and maybe that had part to do with her fire colored hair or the way her smile was contagious and her laughter filled the room. She was a total goofball. She was always someone people could come to discuss anything with. She was caring, and kind, and sassy, but most of all a beautiful soul. Tammy was not someone who just wanted to sit around; she had a passion for playing games, whether that be darts, bingo, euchre, or really just any card game. The second it was brought up she was the first to say yes. Until her family vetoed playing monopoly with her, because they all knew they were going to become bankrupt. When she wasn't found inside, which was often since she loved nature and the beauty it held, you could find her planning her next garden, walking on the beach hunting for the best seashell there was, or simply playing a round of golf with friends or family. She was not what most would call a typical female. She was never one you would find at the mall shopping; she would rather spend time out on the lake boating with friends and family, whether that be tying up next to her friends or catching the biggest fish. She carried her love for athletics throughout her whole life. If that meant her playing the sports herself or watching the football game on Sundays and being the loudest one cheering in the room. Tammy was nothing but extraordinary. She was a loving mother, she will be missed but not forgotten.

She was preceded in death by her father, Royce Albert Hinkle.

Tammy is survived by her mother, Nancy Lynne Johnson, her two daughters, Taylor Lynne Greene and Hannah Nichole Rose Kaverman, five siblings, Todd Hinkle, Debbi Reinschmiedt, Elaine Hinkle Miller, Tracy Hinkle, Stephen Hinkle and Step Son Caleb Gabriel Kaverman and a host of other family members and friends.

A graveside memorial service will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery, 13313 N. Kelley Ave., Oklahoma City, OK 73131 on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. A private interment for immediate family only will take place at the conclusion of the service.The family will host a reception to follow from 12:00 Noon until 3:00 P.M. at Johnnies Charcoal Broiler, 2652 W. Britton Rd., The Village, OK 73120.
