OWEN, Susan “Suzie” Adele (Angle), age 77, of Oklahoma City died from complications of Parkinson’s Disease on January 3, 2022 in Oklahoma City. Born June 11, 1944 in Oklahoma City, she was the loving daughter of Margaret Ann and Woodrow “Woody” Angle. Susan was married to Mike Owen in 1971. She and Mike had two sons, Chris and Jeff. Susan graduated from John Marshall High School in 1962 and graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work from Central State in 1966. She worked for the Oklahoma Department of Human Services for almost 40 years. A decade of that was spent managing the Pauline Mayer group home for teen moms. Susan loved EVERY animal and she loved football. Especially OU and Dallas Cowboys football. She enjoyed playing bridge and making sure she attended every game, recital and event for her grandchildren. She loved to travel and had many fond memories of her trip to Germany and her Mediterranean cruise.  She was a member of the Oklahoma Parkinson’s Foundation and Britton Christian Church. Susan was a dedicated daughter, mom, sister, grandmother, church volunteer and friend.

Preceded in death by her parents Margaret Ann and Woody Angle, father of her boys, Mike Owen, brothers Jerry Angle and Jimmy Angle. She is survived by her sons, Christopher Owen of Oklahoma City and Jeffrey Owen of El Reno as well as her grandchildren, Lance Owen, Meadow Owen, Luke Owen, Rhys Cook, William Owen and Cheyenne Owen.

The family would like to express our thanks for the wonderful help and care given by Alpha Hospice and by Integris Hospice House.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday January 6th, 11:00AM at Britton Christian Church 922 NW 92nd St, Oklahoma City.
