Robert Merle Moser was born August 5, 1939 in Apache, OK to Marvin and Laveda (Booth) Moser Gann. He died on December 4, 2020 at Norman Regional Healthplex hospital in Norman, OK due to complications from COVID-19 and dementia. He is survived by daughter Meegan Carter and husband Alan Carter of Oklahoma City, OK; son, Ryan Moser of Oklahoma City, OK; son Jason Mullenix of Jackson, MS; daughter Sherry Sinclair and husband Bob of Pagosa Springs, CO; daughter Robin Dailey and husband Dan of Ocala, FL. He is also survived by brothers Sam Moser and wife Barbara of Corpus Christi, TX and Jerry Moser and wife Sandy of Mead, OK. Surviving grandchildren include Grayson Carter of Norman, OK; Asher Agee-Moser of Oklahoma City, OK, Jamie Fowler and husband Steve of Perkins, OK; Jarod Sinclair of Whiting, NJ; Miranda Moser-Poteet of Norman, OK and Kaiser Moser of Duncan, OK. Surviving nieces and nephews include Dale Moser and wife Terri of Stuart, OK and Kelli Factor and husband Patrick of Prosper, TX; Rexann Moser of Corpus Christi, TX and Shelly Moser of Frisco, TX. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Kay (Owen) Moser of Oklahoma City, OK and Michael Moser of Oklahoma City, OK.

Robert married the love of his life, Betty Kay Owen in October 1974 at Betty’s sister’s home in Brookfield, WI. Although it was the third marriage for each, it was a lasting one. After 42 years of marriage, Betty unexpectedly preceded Robert in death on July 19, 2016. In honor of Robert, donations may be made to Norman Regional Hospital Foundation or local nonprofit organizations supporting dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.
