Noel's Obituary

Noel Riggs, Jr. joined our Heavenly Father on March 15, 2021.


Noel was born in Sallisaw, Oklahoma on January 26, 1939 to Noel Riggs, Sr. and Dora Margaret Burns Riggs. He had one brother, Denny Ray and two sisters, Delores Ann and Virginia Lee.


Noel joined the United States Army and served until September 30, 1967. He worked for Macklanburg Duncan in Oklahoma City. He started out in adonizing, then worked in Human Resources. He retired from there after 25 years. He then went to work for the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority and retired in 2009 to “collect stuff”.


He leaves behind his wife of 62 years, Barbara, his children, Darcy, her husband Dan and their daughter Madelyn; John and his daughters Danielle, Britny and Morgan; Matthew, his wife Julie and their family Cody, Savannah, Nicholas and Lexus.


We lost a loving husband, father and grandfather, and OU lost a loyal fan!!!


A memorial service is being held at Quail Springs Baptist Church, 14613 N. May Ave., Monday, March 29, 2021 at 10:30 A.M.
