Murrial's Obituary

Murrial Walker went to be with his Heavenly Father on November 20, 2024 in Oklahoma City, in his home. He was born in Oklahoma to Walter and India Walker. He was one of eight children. Merle served in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict as a fighter pilot. Merla and Wanda, his first wife, were married at 18 years of age. While going to Pepperdine, Merle worked at Campbell’s Soup Company as a cattle buyer. He later became a barber while earning his master’s degree. On May 14
th, 1961, Merle was ordained into the ministry. Merle served the Lord as a minister for 52 years as a pastor, a church planter, and many mission trips. He had many stories to tell about how God blessed him in his ministry. Merle was preceded in death by his daughter Debra, his first wife Wanda, his son Tony (Anthony), and his son Terry. Merle is survived by his wife Jean, his son Greg, 13 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren, most of which reside in Spokane, Washington. The funeral service will be held on November 26, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. at One Church-OKC, 7941 N.W. 23rd St., Bethany, OK. Merle will be laid to rest at the Erick Cemetery in Erick, Oklahoma. This is the town of his last pastorate.
