Mary's Obituary

Mary Taylor died 26 November 2021 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Born 22 January 1929 in Prague, Oklahoma she was the daughter of James H. and Mary “Mamie” Pickett Farley. After completing high school in Prague she attended Oklahoma State University graduating in 1951. She was married to Wm. B. Taylor 10 February 1952. A member of Village United Methodist Church since 1952 she served both as a staff member and a volunteer in age level ministries from children through older adults. She is survived by her daughter Linda Taylor of Luther; her son, Bill Taylor and his wife, Linda, and a granddaughter, Katie, all of Waukegan IL. She is also survived by her sister Norma Stoabs of Oklahoma City as well as several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Village United Methodist Church, 2501 W. Britton Road, date pending. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be sent to the church’s memorial fund.
