Lillie Mae Simes Sturdivan passed away December 31, 2023 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 91.

She was born on September 22, 1932, in El Reno, Oklahoma, to Lillie Mae and Kenneth LeRoy Simes. An alum of Britton High School (John Marshall High School), she participated in student council, National Honor Society, and was the activities reporter for the class annual. She was honored as the football queen, senior class officer, salutatorian, and recipient of the silver Letzeiser award. Lillie had a successful career at Allied Materials Corporation, where she was a salesperson in the refinery division. Her post-retirement years were spent volunteering at Integris Hospital, playing bridge, Mahjong, and sitting by the pool with friends. An avid fan of OU, she, alongside her husband Paul, never missed an OU home game, with the OU Vs Texas game in Dallas being a particular highlight. Her faith was evident in her 60-year membership at Village Christian Church. She had three sons: Mike Sturdivan and his wife, Tammy, of Edmond, Oklahoma; Randy Anderson and his wife, Jeanette, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and Phil Sturdivan and his wife, Kim, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She also had three daughters: Teresa Prescott and her husband, David, of Amarillo, Texas; Kay Bluethman and her husband, Randy, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and Terri Terrell and her husband, Randy, of Prague, Oklahoma. She is survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lillie and Kenneth Simes, her husband Paul Sturdivan, and her son Mike Sturdivan. A family celebration to honor the life of Lillie Mae Simes Sturdivan will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to Village Christian Church, 9401Ridgeview Drive, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
