Jewell's Obituary

Jewell Dean Campbell arrived at her heavenly home on February 11, 2021.Jewell was born October 18, 1930, in Okc to Bernie and Bertice Abrams. She was 90 years old. She married Doyle Victor Campbell in 1950 to whom she was married to for over 68 years. She retired from the Pardon and Parole Board and spent her last years in Guthrie, Okla. She made thousands of beanie hats for new babies and the less fortunate over the years. Bird watching and needle pointing were here favorite hobbies. She is survived by Randy and Carolyn Campbell, Daryl and Nita Campbell, Kathy Lucas, Craig Campbell, Jeff and Wendy Campbell, and her sister Norma Jean Sanders. She was blessed with 16 grandchildren and multiple great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2018 and one grandson, David Victor Campbell in 2005. Jewell was referred to as the Rock of Gibraltar by many who knew her. A stalwart woman, always strong, with a faith in God since childhood that could not be shaken.
