Tina's Obituary

Helen (Tina) Porterfield beloved daughter, sister, aunt, sister-in-law and friend passed away in her home on March 21 at age 71. Tina was born on October 17, 1950 in Nashville, AR. She grew up in Central California and moved east with her family settling in Oklahoma City. In 1969, she graduated from Grant High School. Simple pleasures brought joy to her life. She loved everyone, and she never said an unkind word. She sang to her birds each morning and loved her dog Penny. Tina was a super fan and collector of all things Elvis Presley. Tina was a nanny most of her adult life. She loved dearly Dr. and Lucinda Rowe and their children, Aya, Jacob, Kellen and Morgan. Tina cherished her dear friends Marilyn Wood and Shameika Kelso and her daughter Destiny, and she rarely went a day without talking with them.  Her friends Rena and Carol were so special to her. Tina is survived by her mother Mary, sister Becky and her husband Alan, nephew Troy and his son Kaden, niece Cydni and her husband Simon and their children Celelia and Jameson. All who knew her will miss her precious loving heart.
