Zach's Obituary

Zach Mullaney, retired educator, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2022. "At the end of life when the train pulls out of the station, I hope my friends are on the platform, waving goodbye." - Anna Madrigal

Zach was a native of Los Angeles, born to Talma and Mel, growing up in the Long Beach Area. He was a graduate of San Pedro High School and Long Beach State University. After the military, his career was spent in the field of education in Huntington Beach and working with adult ESL in the evenings in Long Beach. Advanced degrees in his field of education led him to study at San Diego State, Boston University, and the University of Salamonica in Spain. His lifetime love of travel and diverse cultures took him to Europe, Asia, Australia, and Latin America. Early retirement enabled him to spend years living in Zacatecas, Mexico, prior to locating in Oklahoma City. Zach has enjoyed the special friendships he's had down through the years.

A celebration of life service will be held at Evolve Church in Oklahoma City on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at 2;00 P.M.
