Zachary's Obituary

Zachary Starnes, 39, passed away on February 13th 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and resilience. Zachary touched the lives of many with his humor, charisma, and unique spirit.

Born June 15th, 1984 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Fort Worth, TX. Zachary adored his two children, Cayden and Emma, considering them as his greatest contribution to this world. Zachary brought joy and laughter to the family around him, a beloved father, brother, son, grandson, and uncle who cherished and valued the tight bonds of his immediate family. 

Zachary enjoyed his work on many construction projects and was on the path to obtain his electrical apprenticeship, something he took great pride in. He will be remembered for his laughter, his love for dirt bikes, cars, football, his ability to find joy in small moments, and most of all his love for his children and family. Zachary’s memory and life story will live on in the hearts of those he touched.

Zachary is survived by his children, Cayden Starnes, 14 and Emma Starnes, 12; His loving parents, Ella Starnes and Rick Starnes; His faithful brother and his wife, Eric and Caitlyn Starnes; Zachary’s Grandmother, ‘Gigi’ Georgia Jones; and his nieces, Addison, Gia, Madison, and Raegen. 



A small and private service was held on February 14, 2024, where his family celebrated life, shared stories and memories. Zachary will stay alive in our hearts forever.
