Max's Obituary


Robert Max Hart was born on March 4, 1952 in Schweinfurt, Germany and passed suddenly to his next life on May 17, 2021. Max`s family moved back to Springfield, Mo, in 1953 and then became permanent residents of Oklahoma City a few years later. Max graduated from Putnam City High School in 1970. He attended Central State University and Okla. City University. Max was a journeyman carpenter before starting his own paint contracting business in 1980. On Mar. 25, 1975 he met the love of his life, Martie LaValley. They married on Dec.30, 1978 and had 42 married years and 45 wonderful years together. Max was as dedicated to his clients as they were to him, many used his services for 40 plus years. Max was a second generation, original “friend” of Friends We Are where he made many long lasting friendships and loved B.S.ing with his buddy’s. Max is preceded in death by his grandparents, Rolin and Mary Hart, his parents Bob and Paula Hart, MIL Laverne Sisseck and nephew, Allen G. Rumley II. He is survived by his wife Martha Hart, brother Harry W. Hart (wife Michele), ten nieces and nephews and 12 great nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at Chapel Hill Cemetery (NW Expressway) on Thur. May 27, 2021 @ 1pm. All are welcome to attend.
