Nolan's Obituary

Nolan was born in Dearborn, Michigan on March 10,1961 to Keith and Mary Dicy Winkler. He died at the age of 65 on April 18, 2026.

Nolan loved baseball and played several summers for his grandfather's team, Winkler Auto Supply, in Altus, Oklahoma. He was in the Navy and served his country at Diego Garcia, an island located in the Indian Ocean.

He was a very fond uncle to his niece and nephews and great nieces and nephews as they were growing up. Nolan worked in the telecommunications industry building tower structures and for Flooring America for The Merideths here in Oklahoma City.

Nolan was baptized late in life by Charles Powell at the Britton Road Church of Christ.

Nolan was preceded in death by his grandparents, his father Keith Winkler, aunt Nancy Henderson, brother Barry Winkler and nephew Kavi Buckley.

Survivors include his mother Mary Dicy Winkler, sister Brenda Witham (husband Jay) niece, Lauren Buckley (husband Jesse), nephews Landon Winkler (wife Alex), Ryan Whitham, and Wyndel Fletcher (wife Hailey), as well as their children, uncle Kelsey Hunter (wife Trish) and their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

A service will be held at Britton Road Church of Christ on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. at 10:00 A.M.
