Kimberly's Obituary
Kimberly Ann Dangerfield was born on March 6, 1967, in Eloy, AZ, to Bobbie Earl and Sheila Dangerfield. On May 4, 2026, she peacefully departed this life, leaving an immeasurable void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved son, Adrian Anderson.
At an early age, Kimberly accepted Christ and carried her faith with her throughout her life. She was a proud graduate of Frederick Douglass High School, Class of 1985, and later earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Administration and Management from Northeastern State University in 1990.
Kimberly dedicated her life to service, creativity, and caring for others. Throughout her career, she worked with the American Cancer Society, Oak Tree Staffing, and OG&E, where she built meaningful relationships and positively impacted many lives. She was also the proud owner of Just Joy Designs, where she shared her artistic talents through graphic design work that brought happiness to others.
A gifted writer, Kimberly enjoyed writing poetry and spending time working on two novels that reflected her imagination, wisdom, and heart. She also faithfully served in the United States Naval Reserves, demonstrating her strength, discipline, and commitment to others.
On March 3, 1994, Kimberly married Edwin Keith Coleman, and together they shared many years filled with love, family, and cherished memories.
Kimberly was a member of Calvary Christian Center, where her faith and joyful spirit touched many lives. She enjoyed spending time with her BLB Group and dance team and treasured moments shared with friends, coworkers, and loved ones.
Affectionately known as “CG” (Cool Granny), Kimberly was the heart of her family. She was a source of comfort, wisdom, and unconditional love, always ready to listen and support those around her. Her warmth, kindness, laughter, and beautiful spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Though she will be deeply missed, Kimberly’s love and legacy will continue to live on through her family and all those blessed to know her.
Kimberly leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Edwin Keith Coleman; her daughters, Dawnielle Owens-West and Melanie Williams; and her son, Anthony Anderson (Briana). She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Jaelen (DeAndra), Michelle, Chris, Jordan, Adian, Jadin, Cortez, Azula, and Roman; her precious great-grandchild, Jade; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 16, at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Christian Center.
