Kathy's Obituary


Kathyrn (Kathy) Pease, 86, passed away on August 5th in Oklahoma City. Kathy was born to John and Kathryn Polewski in 1936 in Cleveland, Ohio. Kathy graduated with honors from Notre Dame Academy in 1954 and began a 35-year secretarial career. She married James Warren Pease in 1967, moving to Topeka, KS where their son Christopher was born. Oklahoma became her permanent home in 1971. Upon retiring, she became active in volunteer work at Mercy Hospital, St. Eugene church, and her homeowners' association. She enjoyed traveling, reading, and activities with her special friends fondly called the "Wild Widows". Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband Jim, and is survived by her son, Christopher, his wife Amy, and grandchildren Isabelle, Connor, and Gabriel. Funeral mass will be held at 10 am, Monday, August 21st at St. Eugene Church. Kathy requests donations be made to the American Cancer Association, St. Eugene Mobile Meals, or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
