Jimmie “Jim” Wayne Lindsey of Shawnee, Oklahoma peacefully passed from this life on Earth to begin his eternal life in Heaven on August 28, 2021, at the age of 82. Jim was born on January 20, 1939, in Oklahoma City, OK to Tommie and Mildred (Austin) Lindsey. He graduated from Northwest Classen High School. He started Central Glass and Mirror in May of 1973 where he continued until retirement in 2005, passing the family business on to his son. Jim enjoyed spending time with family and friends, hunting and fishing, snow skiing, and the equine industry. Jim was past president of the Oklahoma City Ski Club and Oklahoma Quarter Horse Association. Jim was a member of the Business Boosters Club of Oklahoma for nearly 50 years where he made many lifelong friendships.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and his wife.

Jim is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Kim Lindsey of Piedmont and their children, Colton and Rose, his daughter and son-in-law, Allison and Spence Kidney of Shawnee and their children Kyler and Haley.
