Jesse's Obituary


Jess was born on February 23, 1928. He died on September 14, 2022. Jess was survived by his wife of 71 years, Harriett Marie Vanhooser. Jess is survived by his three children. Jess was proud to share that he has eight grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. Jess served in the Army, was in the insurance industry for 48 years, and enjoyed his trade as a CPA. Jess loved telling stories and cheesy jokes, and for many years enjoyed flying airplanes and fishing at the lake. Most important to Jess was the church and his family. Over the course of his life, Jess served in the church as a preacher, an elder and a teacher. Jess lived his life serving Jesus Christ and was an inspiration to many around him. He will be dearly missed. His funeral will take place on Saturday 9/17/2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Road Church of Christ in Edmond.
