Elizabeth's Obituary

Elizabeth Louise Sesher, 76, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, went home to be with her Lord and Savior. Liz was a woman of strong faith, deep compassion, and unwavering love for her family and friends.

Born to Raymond and Mildred Golden, Liz grew up in a close-knit family where she learned the values of kindness, generosity, and perseverance. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Angela Anderson, her parents, and her brother Dennis Golden and great niece, Madison Rachel.

Liz is survived by her devoted son Jason Sesher and his wife Danna Sesher; her brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Pat Golden of Alvin, Texas; and her sister and brother-in-law, Freda and Don Smith of Edmond, Oklahoma. She was the proud grandmother of Landon, Cortlyn, Kaitlyn, Allison, and Maddox, and the great-grandmother of five.

Liz shared a special and cherished bond with her nieces and nephews — Chris, Lisa, Amy, and Sherri — and loved each of their children, Kiley, Brooklyn, Christian, Abby, Bradley, Charlie, and Christopher, as well as her many great-nieces and nephews. To all of them, "Aunt Liz" was a source of laughter, wisdom, and unconditional love.

Liz loved playing gospel music with her family. Singing together, drinking coffee and fishing. She was an amazing singer, harmonizing with the family all while playing her 12-string guitar. She loved traveling to Lake Tenkiller and spending time with her family.

Early in her career she began working at Macklenburg Duncan with her father, Raymond. Liz went on to grow a 15-year career as a Professional Housecleaner working for very prominent families throughout our great city. She was respected by many for her ability to keep homes tidy and organized with a level of professionalism and trustworthiness.

Liz's life reflected her faith. She loved with her whole heart, welcomed everyone with open arms, and lived her days with grace and gratitude. Her legacy of love will live on through her family and all who were blessed to know her.

The viewing of Elizabeth Sesher will take place on Thursday, October 30th from 10:00AM - 5:00PM at Demuth Funeral Home in Oklahoma City. A graveside service will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery on Friday, October 31st at 1:00PM.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who has offered prayers, love, and support during this time. Though Liz will be deeply missed, we take comfort knowing she is rejoicing in Heaven, reunited with her loved ones and resting in eternal peace.
