Carol's Obituary

Carol Louise Wilson Stoecker, of Perkins, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024 after an extended illness. A private family service will be held later. 


Carol never met a stranger and was a friend to everyone. Her fun and cordial spirit allowed her to make friends easily. She was inseparable from her beloved husband, Jimmy. She enjoyed raising flowers and loved animals, always feeding any wild animal or stray that came her way. Her exceptional cooking skills were enjoyed her family and friends and she baked home-made apple pies for a local restaurant to serve on their menu. Carol enjoyed motorcycle riding with her husband, Jimmy. They competed in many trials and obstacle competitions as well as traveling with their motorcycle friends.


Loving survivors include her devoted niece, Dr. Sallie Johnson, nephew-in-law, Charlie Johnson, and step-daughter Patricia Stoecker Billman


She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James August Stoecker; her step-son, Jimmy Stoecker; her sister, Joy June Wilson Hays; and her parents, O.E. and Genetta Wilson.
