Our Oklahoma Rose (a tribute by Eric Oesch)
The Oklahoma Rose is a stunning flower. One of the most fragrant tea roses. And when the weather is warm its stunning petals are so dark red, they appear to be black velvet with pointed buds that open into huge, fully double blooms. Its beauty will take your breath away.
Brenda was our Oklahoma Rose. She was also our beloved sister, aunt, niece and friend. The beauty in her soul matched the intense beauty of the Oklahoma Rose.
She was gift to us from Heavenly Father. And for that we are eternally grateful.
Roses have played a significant role in myth, history and poetry from ancient times to the present.
Just as Brenda played a significant role in our lives. She was easy to love. As beautiful as a flower. And we will miss her greatly.
The Oklahoma Rose exudes an extremely sweet, old rose perfume and is a continual bloomer. It is a vigorous grower with long, strong stems that make stunning floral arrangements.
Brenda loved roses. And flowers. And big, beautiful flower bouquets. And her sweet little puppy babies.
Brenda loved her family more than anything else.
One can only imagine the glorious choir of Angels that welcomed our Oklahoma Rose to her Heavenly Home. Thrive in Heaven sweet Angel.
