Bettie's Obituary


McLemore, Bettie Jean, 79 of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma died on September 27, 2023 in Oklahoma City. Bettie Jean Haun was born in Apache, Oklahoma Haun to Theopolis and Alma on January 23, 1944. She Graduated from the Oklahoma City Public School system and later attended Higher Education Classes. She was later employed as a bookkeeper by Sonic Corporation, World Neighbors and retired after more than ten years with O’Reilly’s.


She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, sisters, Eunis Wilkerson and Venita Squire, brothers, Seth Haun and Billy Haun.


She is survived by her husband Ralph McLemore, of the home. Her children, Joey Turner, his daughter, Amanda and his son, Jonas, all of Oklahoma City. Her two daughters, Amy and Betty (Buffy), both of the San Francisco Bay area. One sister-in-law, Charlotte Gamble and brother-in-laws Lindal, Kenny and Jerry McLemore.


Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, October 3 at 2:00 P.M. at Demuth Funeral Home, 1145 W. Britton Rd., Oklahoma City, OK. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to be made to your favorite charities.
