Tony L. Wafer was born on May 16, 1962 in Oklahoma City and passed suddenly to his next life on June 12, 2021.

Tony L. Wafer, born to Willie Wafer and Carol A. Washington, He attended our family church St. John Missionary Baptist Church under the Pastorship of Dr. W. K. Jackson. Tony attended Columbus Elementary School, Harding Middle School, and he graduated from Douglas High School in 1980.

On March 25, 1998 he met the love of his life Dana Davis. They married on August 24, 1985 and had over 5 wonderful years together. Tony was dedicated to his wife and family as they were to him, together they were blessed with a beautiful baby girl Rachelle Wafer.

Tony is now with our Heavenly Father. He now has joined the dearly departed, father Willie Gene Wafer, his sister Karen D. Wafer, his special friend Betty Watts and stepbrother Delaun Wafer. Tony is survived by his mother Carol A. Washington, Dr. Sandra R. Rhodes (Vincent; his brother, William R. Washington, stepbrother and sisters from Kansas City, Missouri, Ken, Jawonth, and Jolene.

His children, Laquesta Townsend, Rachelle Wafer, Shyla Leclair, and Tonese Leclair. Grandkids: Carlandus Tipton Jr., Zaniah Tipton, Rayden Taylor, Rodrock Taylor, Jr., Quentin Tolliver Jr.; aunts, Ms. Shirley Stamps of Fresno, California, Sharon Kay King of Oklahoma City, Dean Wafer of Louisiana, 3 nieces and 3 nephews and a host of other family and friends.



His funeral service will be held at Demuth Funeral Home on Friday, June 18 at 2:00 P.M.

Dinner will be served immediately after the service at beKIDZ Educational Center.
