Robert's Obituary

Robert Allan Spurr, 94 yrs, of Oklahoma City, OK passed away in O.K.C. on April 8th 2026. Born Aug. 26, 1931 in Albert Lea, Minnesota to Tedmore & Pearl Spurr.

He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1949-1951. He was stationed in Goosebay, Labrador during the Korean War. He was in Teletype Communications; He said that was before E-mail, Ha Ha!

Robert was confirmed in the 1st Lutheran Church of Albert Lea Minnesota in 1946. He was a member of several Lutheran Churches over the years until marrying Oletha Perry. They were members of Crossings Community Church until they passed away. They would have celebrated their 15th Wedding Anniversary on April 30, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his younger daughter Pam Spurr. He is survived by his daughter Vicki Dismukes, children, Jeremy Ohlheiser, Amber Shawareb & Ashley Anderson, also Pam’s children, Teran Wilson, Kaitlynn Corby, & Sky Corby. He has one surviving brother, Steve Spurr.

He played football, baseball, basketball, softball, golfed & pitched horseshoes. He loved to hunt & fish.

No matter what state he happened to live in he was a part of “The Sons of Norway” organization.

Memorial services for Bob & Aletha combined will be held @ Crossings Community Church in their chapel on April 29, 2026 @ 2:00 P.M.
