Kenneth's Obituary

Kenneth D. Eyster departed this life on February 14,2025 in Guthrie, Oklahoma, at the age of 76. He was born on March 23, 1948, to George M Eyster and Wilma Eyster (nee Albright) in Weatherford, Oklahoma. The Eyster family moved to a farm east of Guthrie in 1952, when Kenneth was four years old. He attended Guthrie Public Schools where he met Connie Ochs, the love of his life. After graduation Kenneth pursued several different careers before becoming a full-time farmer/rancher. He and Connie married in 1970 and made Guthrie their home, where the Eyster family farm has been a fixture ever since.

Kenneth is survived by his children Ryan Eyster and wife, Martha, of Guthrie, Craig Eyster and wife, Laura, of Norman; three grandchildren Gwen and Elowen Eyster of Guthrie and Skylar Eyster of Edmond. Kenneth is also survived by his sister Karen Price of Guthrie, brother and sister-in-law Ron and Jan Eyster of Johnstown, Colorado, as well as a host of family and friends who will cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Connie Eyster, his brother Robert Eyster and his parents George and Wilma Eyster.

The family would like to thank Companion Home Health Services of Guthrie for hospice care.

Per his wishes there will be no formal services. The family will celebrate his life privately later in the year. In honor of Kenneth's memory, those who wish may make a donation to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation (omrf.org) or the OETA (www.oeta.tv).
