Keith's Obituary

Knott, Keith Duane, 81, of Oklahoma City, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2024. Keith was born June 5, 1943, in Duncan, OK to Duane and Tressie Knott.

Throughout his life, he worked as a brick layer, masonry contractor, and for Americo Freezer Company until his retirement. He had many hobbies, which included woodworking, where he enjoyed making flags, picture frames, furniture for their house, pens, and more. He also enjoyed sharpening knives, leather work, his weekly shopping trips to Westlake, and taking long walks around his neighborhood on his scooter with his "baby girl" Izzy to see what everyone was up to.

Keith and Francie Knott married on September 24, 1961, after being high-school sweethearts. They shared 62 years and two wonderful boys together. They are members of the Family Worship Center, where they enjoyed attending online services every Sunday. Keith was a family man and enjoyed spending all his time with his wife and family who called him Pepaw.

Keith is preceded in death by his parents Duane and Tressie Knott. He is survived by his beloved wife Francie Knott; his sons, Russell (Lou Ann) Knott and Steven (Wanda) Knott; Brother Ron Knott; Sister Carolyn Ann Telford; Grandchildren, Allen (Janel) Knott, Kelsey Knott, Chris Knott, Mandy (Tanner) Cooper; and Great-Grandchildren, Teighan, Lathan, Olivia, and Ellie.

Services will be held at Demuth Funeral Home in Oklahoma City, OK on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at 2 P.M.
