Elaine's Obituary

Cline, Ilene Elaine, 75, of Oklahoma City died December 3, 2022 quietly in Mercy Hospital North. She was born April 8, 1947 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma to Charles and Elaine Boydston. She moved with the family to the Oklahoma City area at 5 years of age and attended Putnam City schools through high school graduation.

She married early in life after graduation and moved several times, including a stint on the west coast with her husband, Jim, before settling in the Oklahoma City area permanently. She spent many years as the executive secretary to the head of the trust department at Liberty Bank. After Liberty ceased operations and several temporary jobs, she was the secretary to two pediatric urologists at the OU Medical Center, where she retired.

A lifelong Christian, Elaine attended several congregations of the Church of Christ. She attended Quail Springs Church of Christ for many years which later became The Springs Church of Christ.

She was proceeded in death by her first husband, Jim, second husband, Lary, and her father and mother. Elaine is survived by her husband, Jack Cline, of the home, daughters Lori Durant of Kansas City, Missouri, Amy Cain of Phoenix, Arizona, step son Ranger Cline of Norman, Oklahoma, and step daughter, Jackie Yandle of Bixby, Oklahoma.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at The Springs Church of Christ, 21477 N. Western Ave., Edmond, Oklahoma. (Cremation predicates no internment.)
