Floyd's Obituary

Rager, Floyd Lee (age 97) longtime resident of Britton, Oklahoma died June 19, 2021 in the city of Oklahoma City. Born February 14, 1924 Macomb, Oklahoma to Frank Leeroy and Maud  Ophelia Brown Rager. Floyd was an auto mechanic and long time business owner in the Britton area. He was a member of Milwood Baptist church and served his community through the Britton Neighborhood Association. Preceded in Death by his wife Patsy Marilyn, son Johnnie Carl and daughter Janice Sue. Floyd's Memorial Service will be held on Monday June 28, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Demuth Funeral Home 1145 W. Britton Road, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73114. Interment will be at Spring Creek Memorial Cemetery 14300 N County Line Road, Oklahoma City 73142. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be sent  to Feed the Children 333 N Meridian Ave. Oklahoma City, OK 73107.

Floyd was known as Dad to his children and Papa to his grandchildren and great grandchildren and many children in the community and others who needed a Papa. The hallmark of his life was "Love the Lord your God with all of your heart and with all of your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment and the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself." Matthew 22:37-39

With the passing of Floyd the love he gave to so many will continue to be shared with generations to come.
