Barbara's Obituary

Barbara Ann Nagel was born 2-20-1939 at St. Mary's Hospital in Enid, Oklahoma to Cecelia and Ray Nagel. Barbara (Bobby), graduated from Perry High School 1957 and then from Nursing Training at St. Anthony in 1960. She received her Master's Degree in Education from University of Central Oklahoma. She practised nursing in several fields: Coronary Care Education, Emergency Room, and NICU. She spent her years after retirement crocheting baby blankets and caps for the newborn and prayer shawls for the sick and elderly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ceclia and Ray Nagel, brother, Bud Nagel. She is survived by sisters Theresa Nagel Smith and Carol Pritchett, niece Theresa, nephew P.R., niece Mary Catherine, and great nieces and nephew Caroline, Hallie, Colt, and Christina. Barbara was a member of St. Eugene's Catholic Church. She had many hobbies: drawing, painting, crocheting and knitting. She spect countless hours developing a family history for Nagels and Fiedler family. Her loves and companions were her precious dogs, especially Bumper, Boomer, Katie and Laddie. She died peacefully on June 28, 2025 A memorial service will be held at St. Eugene's Catholic Church on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at 11:00 A.M.
