Jesse's Obituary

Jesse Neil Abbott, 44, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025, in Choctaw, Oklahoma. He was born on January 5, 1981, in Midwest City to Randall and Gail Abbott. Jesse graduated from Carl Albert High School in 1999.
Jesse’s sense of humor was unmatched—he loved having random joke contests over text and rating whose jokes were the funniest. After every game or event, he called to hear every detail. Jesse became quite the carpenter and refurbished a kitchen for one of the kids. Jesse built the ultimate pirate forts in the woods, crafted swords from sticks. It didn’t matter what sport but he would practice or play, even volleyball. He was the master of magic tricks, a legendary prankster, and loyal OU fan through and through. Jesse was the epitome of “Lake Life”. He loved everything about the lake…boating, fishing, sleeveless shirts, grilling and cheap beer.
More than anything, Jesse was proud of raising his two wonderful sons, Conley and Cash Nowakowski, who later blessed him with the greatest joy of all—becoming “Poppi” to his grandchildren. He shared a special bond with his sister Katie Flynt, as well as the joy of celebrating his birthday each year alongside her and Jesse’s son, Cash.
Jesse is survived by his loving parents, Randall Abbott and bonus mother Mary Abbott, and his mother Gail Abbott; his grandmother Joann Abbott; his devoted sons Cash and Conley Nowakowski; and his cherished grandchildren Creed, Keenan, and Kohen Nowakowski. He is also survived by his beloved sisters Katie Flynt, Keri Albauer (husband Jeff), Kendall West (husband Chris), and Jennifer Stanley (husband Krennan); nephew Colton and Niece Addyson, and countless bonus nephews and nieces Creighton, Connor, Braelynn, Lucy, Hayden, Keaton, Teagan, Cooper, Jolee, Allyson, Zoie, and Asher, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly.
Jesse was preceded in death by his grandparents Cecil and Erika Hendrix, grandfather J.D. Abbott, cousin Levi Morrison, and aunts Linda Morrison and Maryann Bell.
Jesse recently celebrated 20 years with INTEGRIS Health on October 29th, where he worked as a Product Manager in IT. He took great pride in his career and the dedication it represented.
Jesse will be remembered for his loyalty, humor, and deep love for his family and friends. His laughter, warmth, and childlike spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be forever missed. Boomer
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 7 at 10:00 A.M. at Cornerstone Church, located at 9900 S.E. 15 St, Midwest City, OK 73130.
Following the service, friends are invited to join the family in honoring Jesse's memory at Delta Hotels Midwest City, 5750 Will Rogers Rd., Midwest City, OK.
If ordering flowers, please send them to Cornerstone Church.
