Anita's Obituary

Anita Lou Botchlet, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and wife, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2025, at the age of 75, in Oklahoma City, OK. Born September 20, 1949 in Lawton, OK to Dorothy Lou Davenport and JC Davenport.

Anita lived a life with a deep faith in God and unwavering love and devotion to her family. She loved her two fur babies, shopping, remodeling homes and her occasional tall glass of wine at family gatherings where she brought much laughter to everyone around her.

Anita retired from a long career at FAA as a Production Controller. She will be missed by many friends that she made over the years.

Anita is survived by her loving, devoted husband, Donald Botchlet, loving sister Sharon (Sissy) Staples and husband David Staples. 3 daughters, Shelli Blackwell & husband Randy Blackwell, Jennifer Kemper & husband Jerad Kemper and April Bailey & significant other Chris Thompson, along with her two stepchildren, Anna Bishop & husband Adam Bishop, Cam Botchlet & wife Lori Botchlet. She also is survived by 14 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 1 great grandchild on the way and 2 nephews.

Anita is preceded in death by 1 grandchild, Rhett Miller, and mother and father, Dorothy Davenport and JC Davenport.

She was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

Celebration of Life will be held at Victory Church, 4300 N MacArthur Blvd, Warr Acres, OK on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at 11:00 A.M.
