C. Other Preparation of the Body - $155
This includes dressing the deceased and preparing the deceased for viewing or visitation. Dressing only of the deceased with no preparation for viewing is $75.

2. Additional Services and Use of Facilities

A. Use of Viewing Facilities, Equipment and Staff Services for Visitation or Viewing (per day charge) - $150
Includes set-up of the visitation room and supervision during the visitation period. This price is for public visitation during office hours until 6:00 p.m. Evening visitation until 8:00 p.m. is an additional $50 per day. This service is only available when embalming and other preparation of the body is performed.

B. Use of Chapel Facilities, Equipment and Staff Services for Funeral Service (With Body) - $795
Includes set-up of the funeral service and staff to coordinate and supervise the funeral service held at Demuth Funeral Home. Catholic Wake, Rosary or Prayer Vigil held in chapel the evening before funeral service is an additional $395.

C. Equipment and Staff Services for Funeral Service or Memorial Service held in Church, Cemetery Chapel or 
Other Facility - $895
Includes set-up of the funeral or memorial service and staff to coordinate and supervise the funeral or memorial service.

D. Equipment and Staff Services for Graveside (Only) Funeral Service - $495
Includes set-up of the graveside funeral service and staff to coordinate and supervise the graveside funeral service.

E. Use of Chapel Facilities and Staff Services for Memorial Service (Without Body) - $490
Includes set-up of the memorial service and staff to coordinate and supervise the memorial service held at Demuth Funeral Home. This price is only valid when Demuth Funeral Home is handling the direct cremation service.

Note: Funeral services followed by casketed burial at a cemetery will not be scheduled on Sundays, Holidays, or after 4:00 p.m. on weekdays; and when scheduled on Saturdays an additional service charge of $400 will apply. Memorial services or funeral services followed by cremation will not be scheduled on Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays or after 4:00 p.m. on weekdays.

3. Automotive Equipment and Transportation

A. Transfer of Deceased to Funeral Home - $290
Initial removal from place of death or morgue facility. Outside 50 miles $3.00 per mile, one way, is added. Includes use of facilities for refrigeration of unembalmed remains (up to 72 hours) until embalming, cremation, or burial takes place.

B. Funeral Coach - $260
Transportation of deceased and flowers to place of funeral and to cemetery; or transportation to or from the airport. Outside 50 miles $3.00 per mile, one way, is added.

C. Family Limousine - $295
Transportation of family members to place of funeral, then to cemetery within 50 miles and return. This service is only available when Demuth Funeral Home is charging for coordination of type of funeral or memorial service selected. Availability of additional limousines is dependent upon and subject to supply by a third-party limousine rental service at additional cost.

4. Direct Cremations

For Cremation Society™ Members - $1,150
For Non Members - $1,250

Simple direct cremation without any funeral or viewing of the body. This charge includes: basic services for funeral director and staff; transfer of deceased to funeral home within 50 miles (outside 50 miles $3.00 per mile, one way, is added); use of facilities for refrigeration of unembalmed remains (up to 72 hours); Medical Examiner cremation permit fee; use of crematory facilities to perform cremation; cremation alternative container; and temporary cremated remains container. If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers support the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide at no charge are fiberboard pallets without an outside covering. Price does not include: embalming; other preparation of the body; visitation; memorial service; or casket (none of these items are required).

A. Direct cremation with container provided by purchaser - $1,150 or $1,250

B. Direct cremation with alternative container - $1,150 or $1,250

C. Special Cremated Remains Services - $75
Mailing: Includes special packaging for registered mailing, delivery to post office and mailing fees. U.S. Postal regulations require registered mailing of cremated remains and do not allow overnight delivery or foreign mailing. Other shipping and express delivery services’ regulations do not allow shipment of cremated remains at all.
Delivery: Includes delivery to cemetery, church, residence or other place within Oklahoma County. Outside of Oklahoma County, $3.00 per mile, one way, is added.

5. Merchandise

A. Caskets - Prices range from $899 to $2,615
A complete list will be provided at the funeral home.

B. Outer Burial Containers - Prices range from $692 to $3,020
A complete list will be provided at the funeral home.

C. Memorial Goods Package - $95
Includes one funeral register memorial book ($40), 100 memorial folders ($50) and 25 thank-you cards with envelopes ($5).

6. Forwarding of Remains to Another Funeral Home - $2,375

This charge includes: basic services for funeral director and staff; transfer of deceased to funeral home within 50 miles (outside 50 miles $3.00 per mile, one way, is added); embalming; minimum shipping container; Medical Examiner out of state permit fee; and transportation of deceased to airport. Price does not include: other preparation of the body, visitation, church or chapel service, casket or airline shipping charges.

7. Receiving of Remains from Another Funeral Home - $2,010

This charge includes: basic services for funeral director and staff; transportation of deceased from airport to funeral home; transportation of deceased to cemetery within 50 miles (outside 50 miles $3.00 per mile, one way, is added); and equipment and staff services for graveside (only) funeral service. Price does not include: other preparation of the body, visitation, church or chapel service, casket, outer burial container or cemetery expenses.

8. Immediate Burials - $2,340

This charge includes: basic services for funeral director and staff; transfer of deceased to funeral home within 50 miles (outside 50 miles $3.00 per mile, one way, is added); use of facilities for refrigeration of unembalmed remains (up to 72 hours); transportation of deceased to cemetery within 50 miles (outside 50 miles $3.00 per mile, one way, is added); and equipment and staff services for graveside (only) funeral service. Price does not include embalming, other preparation of the body, visitation, church or chapel service, casket, outer burial container or cemetery expenses.

A. Immediate burial with casket provided by purchaser - $2,340

B. Immediate burial with casket selected from our funeral home - $3,315 to $4,955

This general price list provided by Demuth Funeral Home and Cremation Society™ of Oklahoma is provided to comply with the disclosure requirements as set forth by the Federal Trade Commission.

1. Professional Service Charges

A. Basic Services for Funeral Director and Staff - $1,295
Our fee for the basic services of funeral director and staff includes, but is not limited to: staff to respond to initial request for service and direction desired; arrangement conference with family or responsible party; preparation and filing of required forms and permits; recording vital statistics; placement of obituary notices; coordination with those providing other portions of the funeral, e.g. cemetery, suppliers, churches, clergy, funeral participants, military honors and others. Also included in this charge are overhead expenses relative to our facility such as insurance, maintenance and utility expenses, secretarial and administrative costs, and equipment and inventory expenses. This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangement you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving of remains.)

B. Embalming - $580
Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.
